FAQs

  • Tapping is an efficient, effective and often fun and quick healing tool. It is used to change the references held in the subconscious that result in problems in all areas of our lives. Tapping can be used to solve any issue - financial, personal, professional, emotional, psychological, physiological, or health related.

  • Traditional counselling is a talking therapy. Tapping is a body centered therapy. Both are tools used to help work through behaviors, issues or trauma in a safe environment. With my years of experience as a traditional counsellor, I have integrated tapping into my professional practice.

  • Our brains are constantly acquiring, storing, retaining and eventually retrieving information. These are our memories, and our emotional state at the time greatly influences how accurate and objectively our brain holds on to memories. When we have experienced something traumatic, our memories of the event can end up distorted by negative thoughts and emotions, and we can end up having a sort of “memory hang-over” where we aren’t able to stop our emotional trauma from being relived. Tapping works by disrupting signals to the brain and the major organs of the body that trigger a fight or flight response.
